The world is counting down to today’s wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, in which plant-based people will be subtly placed front and centre.
The Royal Wedding will be captured by celebrity photographer and passionate vegan Alexi Lubomirski, whose work has graced international covers of Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, GQ and countless other titles.
Mr Lubomirski previously photographed Prince Harry and bride-to-be Meghan Markle for their offical engagement portraits, released in December last year.
The long-term vegan will play a major role in today’s celebrations, capturing both official wedding portraits and more candid moments from Windsor Palace.
“I could not be more thrilled or honoured to photograph this historic occasion”, Mr Lubomirski told media sources.
“Having taken Prince Harry and Ms Markle’s engagement photos, it brings me such joy to be able to witness again, the next chapter in this wonderful love story”.
Alexi Lubomirski has also described the royal couple’s engagement shoot as, “one of the easiest, most joyful jobs because they were so deliciously in love”.

A huge thank you to His Royal Highness Prince Harry and Ms Markle, for allowing me to take their official engagement portraits. Not only was it an incredible honour, but also an immense privilege to be invited to share and be a witness to this young couple’s love for each other. I cannot help but smile when I look at the photos that we took. @Kensingtonroyal
A Prince in his own right, Mr Lubomirski is a dedicated vegan, who regularly shares his thoughts on animal and environmental advocacy with Instagram followers.
“More than 75 percent of Earth’s land areas are substantially degraded, undermining the well-being of 3.2 billion people”, Mr Lubomirski said in a recent post.
“These lands – that have either become deserts, are polluted, or have been deforested and converted to agricultural production – are also the main causes of species extinctions”.
“Every little thing you buy, has a huge impact on the environment and the people who live in the countries we are exploiting due to high consumer demands”.
Mr Lubomirski has previously encouraged his fans to try a plant-based diet, which Meghan Markle herself adopts on weekdays.
In 2016, the future princess told Best Health magazine: “I try to eat vegan during the week and then have a little bit more flexibility with what I dig into on the weekends”.
