The Cheesecake Shop appears to be trialing an all-new vegan cheesecake in select Australian stores!
An image has surfaced on social media, seemingly depicting a vegan cheesecake on offer at The Cheesecake Shop in Springfield, Queensland.
The Vegan Chocolate Cake appears to retail for $59.95, and can be made available with either chocolate or strawberry flavoured icing.
Aussie vegans have welcomed the news, with many cheesecake fans taking to Facebook to express their delight:

When queried about the use of palm oil as an ingredient, The Cheesecake Shop offered VeganNews.com.au the following comments:
“We endeavour to make purchasing decisions that are made in the best interest of our customers, the community and the environment.
“In relation to Palm Oil, and of the ingredients we use containing palm oil, 100% are now certified by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil.”
In other retail news, grocery giant Woolworths has also released a dairy-free cheesecake across stores nationwide.
The Woolworths brand Dairy Free Chocolate Cheesecake retails at $12.00 for a 675 gram serve.
